The IMPACT program began in the 2006-2007 school year. What started as a brainstorm on how to make education more meaningful slowly emerged into a reality. We had our share of growing pains, yet we were able to accomplish some amazing thing. Here is a list of the projects from the 2006-2007 school year.
- Food drive - over six hundred cans of food donated
- Holiday cards to soldiers in Iraq
- Nothing But Nets - We raised over $1,000 for mosquito nets in malaria-infested Africa. This included creating t-shirts and doing a car wash.
- Family Nights - we had monthly Family Nights to connect families to our learning community
- Borman website - designed it
- Social Voice Online - students completed articles and worked on designing the website
- Service Hours - students logged in over 1,000 hours of community service
