Making a Difference at Borman

Last year, we created two murals that were designed to help make the campus more beautiful. Also, students had the option of volunteering at Borman for their community service hours. We attempted to create a schoolwide recycling program, but the project fizzled due to logistical issues.

This year, we would like to expand in the area of impacting our school. We will do murals again and there will be required school-related community service hours. However, we pose these questions to the students:

• What does our school need?
• How can we meet those needs?
• What are ways that we can make a difference at Borman Middle School?
• What would happen if this caught on and every student at Borman began to make a difference in our school?

WHY HELP OUR SCHOOL?

The most immediate area, where you can easily make a difference, is your school. It is where you spend time, where you know people and where you have influence.
