Individual Work

• Raise your hand if you have a question.
• Please do not talk to anyone.  Do not whisper or talk.  If you need to borrow a pen or paper, please do so silently before class.
• You may get up to sharpen a pencil or throw away trash.  However, I want only one person at the pencil sharpener at a time.
• If I raise my hand, you need to stop, stay quiet, look at me and listen.

Partner Work

• Please raise your hand if you have a question.
• You may talk only to your partner.
• You may get up to sharpen a pencil or throw away trash.  However, I want only one person at the pencil sharpener at a time.
• If I raise my hand, you need to stop, stay quiet, look at me and listen.

Group Work

• Raise your hand if you have a question. Only the designated Communication Specialist can ask a question.
• You may talk to only the members in your group. Anyone who talks to a different group must switch to an individual assignment. 
• You may get up to sharpen a pencil or throw away trash.  However, I want only one person at the pencil sharpener at a time.
• If I raise my hand, you need to stop, stay quiet, look at me and listen.

Whole Class

• Raise your hand when you have something to say.  Otherwise, listen to whoever is speaking.
• Please do not talk when anyone else is talking.
• Please do not get up to throw anything away or sharpen your pencils.
• Listen to all directions the first time.  Please look at me the entire time that I am talking.
